Organic & Inorganic Rice Production: A Case Study in Yasothon Province, Northern Thailand
This book contains the executive summary of a case study on organic and inorganic rice conducted in the two villages of Sokkumpoon and Kudhin in Kudchum District, Yasothon Province, Northeast Thailand. The study aimed at documenting the cultivation technologies the farmers used, as well as allowing them to develop innovative technologies. While the documentation focused on the whole process of rice cultivation, the farmers focused on the testing of innovations on two important activities, namely, soil improvement and seed selection and conservation.
