Who’s Controlling the Food Now? A Look Into Corporate Agriculture and Gender

This booklet is an attempt to provide an overview of the concentration of corporate control on food and agriculture and its impact on women. It highlights the existing patriarchal sexual division of labour in traditional production systems, and its continuum within the corporate agriculture. TNCs persist in the exploitation of women as cheap labour and see them as being easily subjugated. Corporate agriculture is first and foremost all about reaping profits.
